Hey guys! Right now I’m at the Atlanta Airport about to take off! Just wanted to take a little time to update and thank everyone for all that’s been happening in the last two weeks. First off had a really smooth flight to Georgia and was able to meet my team on Sunday. From Sunday to Thursday we stayed at the World Race base in Georgia. While we were there our leaders and mentors poured into us scripturally and spiritually. We learned many things, like the cost of discipleship (what it actually takes to be a follower of Christ), how the spirit works in us, and what it means to be a missionary. After our training, the plan was to launch to Nicaragua on Friday the 8th, but that wasn’t what God had in plan for us. One of our squad members caught Corona and we had to go into full Quarantine mode for 10 days. We ended up moving to Cleveland Georgia, where we were able to separate into teams so that we could get rid of any COVID running around. We finished the basics of our training and we were getting hyped for Nicaragua. However that wasn’t God’s plan and it just so happened that during our quarantine Nicaragua completely closed all of its borders. But it just so happened that Costa Rica completely opened her borders. So we went back to the World Race base and got ready to leave for Costa Rica. We will be there for 3 months, the same as Nicaragua. And then come April we will find out where we are going from there.

I’m super pumped to share this time with my squad and team! Also wanted to introduce team Overflow! There are 5 of us total and my teammates are Ella McCook, Piper Mahan, Devin Helm, followed with our team leader Sam Osuna. Be praying for us as we start our missions, that we reach many people with the Gospel of Christ!

Also wanted to do an update for my fundraising. That you all so much who donated to me within the last 2 months allowing me to go on the World Race! I wouldn’t be here without any of you and I am so appreciative for your support. I’m super close to my goal and any support that anyone could provide, whether that be in prayer or financially would be amazing!

Stay tuned for my next week update!
